These are the categories that divide the book and online directory in to manageable, bite-sized chunks! (in no particular order…)

When are the books released?

The books are seasonal and will be quarterly editions:

• Winter 2011 (November 2011 ready for December)
• Spring 2012 (February 2012 ready for March)
• Summer 2012 (May 2012 ready for June)
• Autumn 2012 (August 2012 ready for September)

and so on…

Are the books free?

Yes. Residents and visitors of Manchester will be able to pick the books up from a variety of places free of charge.

Will I get any books?

Yes. As an advertiser, you will receive a box of books to give out to your customers, friends and family.

Can you create the advert artwork for me?

Oh yes! We have an amazing team of designers who will create you something fabulous AND what’s more, we’ll do it for FREE! One of our experienced designers will guide you through what information they need from you (like your logo, contact details, images and any ideas you may have).

When do I need to get artwork sorted by?

The simple answer is as soon as is physically possible! Due to our print run and the large nature of it, we have to allow at least 2 weeks to get it all sorted! Our studio team will contact you once you have paid for your space in the book to advise on deadlines. If you are submitting artwork, please consult our Artwork Specification Guide.

How do I pay for advertising?

There are several different ways to pay:

• call our sales team on 0845 095 1094, who can take card details over the phone… (you will receive a receipt for your payment in the post).
• If you need to post a cheque – we will happily give you all the details, just drop us an email here.

When do I pay?

If you love what you have seen and heard, then sign up now and pay for your space. Unfortunately, we can’t hold space in the book unless you have paid in full. The Online Directory is ongoing and can be booked at anytime throughout the year.

Will you be promoting the book anywhere else, other than with Smooth Radio?

Yes. We will be promoting I Love Manchester, via social media, networking events, charity fundraising and we are currently creating a strategy to advertise via public transport and billboards… exciting!

What’s involved in the Smooth Radio competition?

This is an opportunity for our advertisers to get even more exposure for their brands by offering products or services that can be used as part of a competition prize. For example, if the competition prize was a luxury weekend in Manchester, I Love would create a package that included a hotel, chauffer driven car, meal and perhaps tickets to a performance… all contributors logos will appear on the Smooth Radio competition site AND you’ll get a mention on the radio.
